Losing Tack of Time on the Sports Field
I've heard a lot of people say the cliché "Time flies when you're having fun". I agree with this because whenever I play sports I feel like time goes by quickly. My soccer games are usually 80 minutes long, but to me they feel like twenty minutes or even less. I think time flies when I'm playing soccer or another sport because I get really focused on what I'm doing in the game. Soccer requires a player to do many things at once like watch the ball, watch the other team, tell your team where to go, and decide where to go and what to do when the ball comes to you. An example of a specific time this happened is when the John Carroll girls soccer team played Bel Air. I played the second half of the game and it only felt like a few minutes because we were having so much fun. It was one of our best games and we ended up beating them. I love playing sports because they are a lot of fun ,and time flies when you're having fun!
